The Fundamentals Of Bondage

blog12Being tied up can be exciting and quite sensuous. One of the first things your partner and yourself should discuss is what type of equipment you should be buying and using. There are literally thousands of different models of equipment available for tying your partner up before and during sex. There are decisions that need to be made before you purchase your equipment and I suggest that you and your partner talk about what type of experience that you are both seeking. Online there is a huge selection of great and always of high quality equipment. My partner’s preference is to have a silky tie instead of a Japanese style rope. Obviously these do not have a key closure, so they feel restrained but not in danger.

After you choose your type of bondage equipment, there is one other important factor you need to discuss with your partner. You both need to agree on a “safe word”. This word when spoken allows the submissive person to be untied and released without questions.  Choose a word that you both can remember during a heated session of bondage and sexual desire. Usually one or two syllable words are the best. Many couples choose colours like green, red and yellow for their “safe word” but no matter what word you choose, both people need to make sure that they respect the word and stop when the “safe word” is spoken.
